After 22 years of service, I had reached a point where I just felt like I had no more emotional capacity to continue. I had no words for what I was dealing with, but I knew I needed help. Those are cuss words in our world, and most of us think that if we admit it, that’s the end of our career.
After finding A.K. on social media, I reached out to her. She has been there and done that, and led me out of a dark time in my life. She knows when to ask the hard questions, and when to relate things to the principals of our career.

Before working with AK, I was struggling to just feel like a human. I was angry all the time, had very little patience for people, and was isolating to avoid as much human contact as possible.
AK was able to bring me back to the activities I enjoy, and helped me hit the reset on my mind, while creating new goals and a new mindset. I found myself enjoying time with others, and had a new focus on my me time, instead of numbing out.
Since completing the program, I have quit my job because I realized there was no opportunity for growth or healing while stuck in the environment. I set daily goals and have allowed myself grace on the days my body just needs to rest. AK taught me it’s okay to listen to my body, and I don’t have to beat myself up for taking a break. It’s amazing how much more I’ve accomplished by allowing that time off too!
